Our website uses cookies. These are data packets that are sent from an Internet server to a browser and are sent back each time the browser subsequently accesses the same server. Cookies are used to identify the user or track their access to the server. Cookies do not cause any damage. We use these cookies to make our website more user-friendly. When you visit our website, the browser used by your device automatically sends data to our website's server. This information is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:
We use the data to improve the technical aspects of our website, enhance its visual appearance, and ensure that it functions as reliably as possible from a technical standpoint. The legal basis for this data processing is therefore Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). We never use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about the identity of users. |

6. E-mail communication |

If you sign up online, we will send you a confirmation email. You must follow the link in the confirmation email to confirm your registration. Personalized content From time to time, we give you the option to share personal data or other information with us (such as your address or birthday). We collect this data using technical forms on our website or in an email that we send to you. If you share such data with us, we will use it to personalize the messages we send to you. Our aim is to make your user experience and communication with us as pleasant and personal as possible. Filling out such forms is voluntary, and you will be given the opportunity to consent to this processing before submitting the data to us. We process the data on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our customer service and provide personalized content. Analysis and performance quantification We use the services of ActiveCampaign LLC., 1 North Dearborn Street, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602, United States, to store and process the data obtained through one of the above processes (e.g., names, email addresses, postal addresses, or online identifiers). We have entered into a data processing agreement with ActiveCampaign in which ActiveCampaign undertakes to comply with the applicable legal requirements in connection with data processing. ActiveCampaign only processes data on our instructions and does not commission any other companies to process the data. For the transfer of data from the EU to the US, Google refers to the European Commission's standard data protection clauses. This ensures compliance with European data protection standards in the US. For more information on how ActiveCampaign manages data, please refer to ActiveCampaign's privacy policy. When using our domain, a site tracking cookie is stored in the user's browser, which can be used to collect information about the user's interaction with the website. By evaluating this data, conclusions can be drawn about the usability of our website and the preferences of users when interacting with our website. This collection can be objected to by deselecting the corresponding option in the cookie settings. The technical structure of these so-called first-party cookies also does not allow transfer between different websites in order to protect the security of users. As long as users do not provide us with an email address, usage data is not recorded or stored. Only when the cookie for data collection is accepted and the user voluntarily provides us with an email address can conclusions be drawn about the user's behavior. The information collected is used to improve our newsletter based on technical data or target groups and their reading behavior based on their location (which can be determined using their IP address) or access times. It may also be collected whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links are clicked. If an email sent from is replied to, this information is also collected and data from users who reply to such emails is recorded. Although this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients, the data is not evaluated for the purpose of monitoring individual users, but serves as a purely statistical value in an analysis of, for example, the reading behavior of all or several users. Based on these evaluations, we can adapt our content or send different content according to the interests of our users. Unsubscribing You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Simply send your unsubscribe request to info@flasher.tech. We will then delete all data associated with your newsletter subscription, unless we are processing the same data lawfully for another reason under Art. 6 (1) GDPR. You will also find a link to unsubscribe at the end of every newsletter you receive from us. |

7. Data processing within the scope of a purchase agreement |
Shopify Online Store We use the store system provided by Shopify International Limited, Victoria Buildings, 2nd Floor, 1-2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Ireland (“Shopify”). Shopify collects the IP address and information about the device and browser used (log file data, see section 2 above) on our behalf when our online shop is visited. This data collection is used for web hosting. Processing by Shopify is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable presentation of all basic functions in our online store. Shopify also collects the name, email address, delivery and billing addresses, payment details, and other data related to the purchase (including inquiries about and processing of any warranty and service disruption claims, as well as any legal update obligations) when a purchase is made on our website. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR in the context of fulfilling a purchase contract and our contractual obligations if you voluntarily provide us with this data when placing your order. Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we require this data to process the contract and cannot ship the order without it. The data that is collected can be seen in the respective input forms. Shopify stores cookies on the end device so that Shopify can provide us with its hosting service in full. If these cookies are not set, basic functions of our website are impossible, such as the basic display and technical execution of our web shop. For this reason, setting these cookies on the end device is technically essential. As part of the aforementioned services provided by Shopify, data may also be transferred for further processing on behalf of Shopify Inc., 150 Elgin St, Ottawa, ON K2P 1L4, Canada, Shopify Data Processing (USA) Inc., Shopify Payments (USA) Inc., or Shopify (USA) Inc. In the event of data being transferred to Shopify Inc. in Canada, an adequacy decision by the European Commission ensures an adequate level of data protection. If Shopify then sends this personal data to a country outside Canada (e.g., if Shopify sends this data to its subcontractors), this data is protected by contractual obligations comparable to those in the European Union's standard contractual clauses. This ensures that the level of data protection provided by the European Union's standard contractual clauses is maintained. Further information on Shopify's data protection policy can be found here. SevDesk We use the digital accounting system provided by sevDesk GmbH, Hauptstraße 115, 77652 Offenburg, Germany (“SevDesk”). SevDesk collects personal and other data on our behalf from users who shop in our online store. After a purchase is made in our store, the online store (Shopify) transmits such data (including name and address) to SevDesk. A user profile is created there and the data is stored. The data is used to generate invoices with the aid of automation. The data is stored by SevDesk GmbH on a server in Germany, which means that SevDesk is also subject to the GDPR to the same extent when processing and storing the data. The processing by SevDesk is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in creating legal invoices and is also carried out within the scope of fulfilling contractual obligations on our part based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR. Further information on SevDesk's data protection policy can be found here. Forwarding for shipping notification Based on your express consent, either at the time of ordering or afterwards, we will forward your email address and telephone number to the shipping service provider you have selected in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR so that they can contact you prior to delivery for the purpose of notification or coordination. |

8. Processing of transactions |
Depending on the selected payment method, we pass on the necessary data to the service providers who work for us within the scope of order processing, or to the commissioned credit institutions or to the selected payment service provider. We only pass on the data necessary for processing the payment transaction and only to the extent that it is necessary for processing the payment. The transfer serves to fulfill the contract and is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In some cases, the payment service providers collect the data necessary for processing the payment themselves, e.g., on their own website or via a technical integration in the ordering process.
PayPal One of the payment methods available in our online shop is PayPal Express. PayPal Express is operated by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. & Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg as the responsible entity. 9. Hotjar Heatmaps |
We use a technology from Hotjar Ltd., Dragonara Business Centre 5th Floor, Dragonara Road, Paceville St Julian's STJ 3141 Malta called Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offering and experience on this website. Hotjar's technology helps us gain a better understanding of our users' experiences (e.g., how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click on, what they like and dislike, etc.), which helps us tailor our offerings to our users' feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data about our users' behavior and their devices, in particular the IP address of the device (which is only collected and stored in anonymized form during website use), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), and preferred language for viewing our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually prohibited from selling the data collected on our behalf. For more information, please refer to Hotjar's privacy policy. |

10. Google Services for web analytics and advertisements |
We use technologies from Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). The information automatically collected by Google technologies about your use of our website is usually transferred to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, and stored there. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics, which obliges Google to protect the data of our website visitors and not to pass it on to third parties. For the transfer of data from the EU to the USA, Google refers to the European Commission's standard data protection clauses. This ensures compliance with European data protection standards in the USA. If your IP address is collected via Google technologies, it will be truncated before being stored on Google's servers by activating IP anonymization. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server and truncated there. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement concluded for the respective technology between jointly responsible parties in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Further information about data processing by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy. Google Analytics Google (Universal) Analytics 4 (“Google Analytics”) automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about your use of our website). This enables an analysis of website usage by creating user profiles, whereby cookies may be used. An IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data; furthermore, the IP address is only recorded in abbreviated form on our website by Google, which ensures anonymization and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about identity (so-called IP masking). On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Art. 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offering and our website. Google Analytics also enables the creation of statistics on the age, gender, and interests of website visitors based on an evaluation of interest-based advertising and the use of third-party information via a special function known as “demographic characteristics.” This allows the definition and differentiation of user groups on the website for the purpose of optimizing marketing measures for specific target groups. However, data records collected via “demographic characteristics” cannot be assigned to a specific person. Details on the processing initiated by Google Analytics and Google's handling of website data can be found here. Google Ads (previously "Google AdWords") We use Google Ads to place advertisements for our product on external websites with the help of advertising material (known as Google Adwords Conversion). We can use the data from the advertising campaigns to determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our aim is to show you advertisements that are really interesting to you. The data is collected by a cookie that is set when a user clicks on a Google Ads advertisement. We use the so-called conversion tracking cookie for website analysis and event tracking and to see how users use our website when they come to our website via a Google Ad. All processing described above, in particular the setting of cookies for reading information on the device used, will only be carried out if you expressly consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. Without this consent, Google Ads conversion tracking will not be used on our website. Google Tag Manager We use Google Tag Manager as an auxiliary service. It only processes personal data for technically necessary purposes. Google Tag Manager ensures that other components are loaded, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. Further information on Google Tag Manager can be found in Google's privacy policy. Under certain circumstances, US authorities, such as intelligence agencies, may be able to access personal data that is inevitably exchanged with Google when this service is integrated due to US laws such as the Cloud Act. To protect the data of our users in the US, we have entered into a data processing agreement (“Data Protection Addendum”) with Google based on the European Commission's current standard contractual clauses (Module 2) to enable the transfer of your personal data to Google. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google for the use of Tag Manager. |
11. Facebook/Meta |
Facebook Pixel We use the Facebook Pixel as part of the technologies described below from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook (by Meta)” or “Meta Platforms Ireland”). Facebook Pixel automatically collects and stores data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, and information about the use of our website based on events specified by us, such as visiting a website or subscribing to a newsletter), from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. As part of what is known as extended data matching, information that can be used to identify individuals (e.g., names, email addresses, and phone numbers) is also collected and stored in hashed form for matching purposes. When you visit our website, Facebook Pixel automatically sets a cookie that uses a pseudonymous cookie ID to recognize your browser when you visit other websites. If you are registered with a Facebook service, Facebook (by Meta) can assign the visit to this account. Facebook (by Meta) will combine this information with other data from the Facebook account and use it to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage, in particular personalized and group-based advertising. The information automatically collected by Facebook (by Meta) technologies about the use of our website is usually transferred to a server of Meta Platforms, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, and stored there. Similar to Google, there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission for the USA. If the data transfer to the USA falls under our responsibility, our cooperation is based on standard data protection clauses of the European Commission. Further information about data processing by Facebook can be found in Meta's privacy policy. Facebook Ads (Ad manager) We use Facebook Ads to advertise this website on Facebook (by Meta) and other platforms. We determine the parameters of each advertising campaign. Facebook (by Meta) is responsible for the exact implementation, in particular the decision on the placement of ads for individual users. Unless otherwise specified for the individual technologies, data processing is based on an agreement between joint controllers in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Joint responsibility is limited to the collection of data and its transfer to Meta Platforms Ireland. The subsequent data processing by Meta Platforms Ireland is not covered by this. Based on the statistics generated by Facebook Pixel about visitor activity on our website, we use Facebook Custom Audience to run group-based advertising on Facebook (by Meta) by determining the characteristics of the respective target group. As part of the extended data matching process (see above) used to determine the respective target group, Facebook (by Meta) acts as our data processor. Based on the pseudonymous cookie ID set by Facebook Pixel and the data collected about your usage behavior on our website, we use Facebook Pixel Remarketing to deliver personalized advertising. We use Facebook Pixel Conversions to measure your subsequent usage behavior for web analysis and event tracking if you have accessed our website via an advertisement from Facebook Ads. Data processing is based on an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta). Lead Ads We also use Facebook's “Lead Ads” feature to collect and process certain personal data from interested parties – known as leads – via a contact form (known as an “instant form”) displayed on Facebook websites. The content and scope of the data requested in this form depends on the focus of the respective lead campaign. The processing of the data is strictly linked to the purposes pursued by the respective Lead Ad campaign. These purposes are clearly stated in the Lead Ad or on the form provided before the data is transmitted. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 165 (3) TKG 2021 and Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offering and the relevance of our advertising for interested parties. According to Facebook, Facebook stores the IP address when our Facebook page is visited. According to Facebook, this is anonymized and deleted after a period of time. In addition, Facebook stores information about the end devices used to visit the site. The assignment of IP addresses may lead to the identification of individual users. Facebook also stores cookies with the Facebook ID of users on their end device when they are logged into Facebook. This cookie allows Facebook to track page views within Facebook. This applies to our Facebook page as well as to Facebook pages of other providers. When users click on a Facebook button embedded in a website, Facebook can link this use to their profile. This enables Facebook to offer advertising based on specific user behavior. If you want to avoid this, you must first log out of Facebook before visiting our Facebook page and deactivate the “stay logged in” function. In addition, you must delete all Facebook-related cookies from your device and restart your browser. Further information on Facebook's data policy can be found here. Facebook analysis As part of Facebook Business Tools, statistics on visitor activity on our website are compiled from data collected by Facebook Pixel about the use of our website. Data processing is based on an agreement on order processing by Facebook (by Meta). Your analysis serves to optimize the presentation and marketing of our website. |
