"Navigation by vibration" is a free feature of the Flasher wristbands, which you can operate via the free Flasher app.
How the navigation system works
1. Enter route
Plan your route and start navigation using the free Flasher app, komoot (NEW), Google Maps or Apple Maps.
2. Put your phone away
From now on, you won't need a screen or headphones to distract you. Just put your phone away and keep your eyes on the road.
3. Use vibration in the wristbands for navigation.
When you need to turn, the left or right wristband vibrates – once a short distance before the turn and twice immediately as you begin the turn. The vibration motors are so strong that you can feel the signals even through a thick jacket.

FAQ
How do I turn the turn signal on and off?
To turn the turn signal on and off, simply swing your elbow quickly upwards without letting go of the handlebars. This way, both hands can remain on the handlebars throughout the entire ride.
Will the bracelets stay on even on bare skin or if I sweat?
Yes, the wristbands will stay in place even on your bare upper arm – even if you sweat. Thanks to the non-slip silicone, they remain securely on your arm. For optimal comfort, wear them close to your elbow.
How does navigation through vibration work?
You plan your route in the Flasher app, komoot (NEW!), Google Maps, or Apple Maps and start navigation. The wristbands vibrate during your ride before you need to turn. Vibration on the left arm means turn left, on the right arm means turn right.
This way you can concentrate on the road and won't be distracted by your phone or navigation screen.
How much does navigation by vibration cost?
Vibration navigation is free, regardless of which navigation service you use . To use it, you need the free Flasher app. You can find it in the App Store and on Google Play.
For navigation, map data from the following providers can be used:

Do drivers understand the signals?
Yes, because we use the same signals as all other vehicles on the road (yellow for turn signals, red for brake lights, red/white for headlights and taillights). A particularly valuable feature is that, similar to cars, the lights are mounted at your outermost points. This makes the turn signal especially clear and unambiguous.
Is the flasher compliant with the German Road Traffic Act and approved for use on public roads?
Yes, the flasher complies with the German Road Traffic Act and is permitted on public roads. Section 9, Paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic Act only requires a clear and timely indication of the change in direction, and you can choose the type of indication yourself.
Do the wristbands also work without an app?
Yes, the Flasher wristbands can also be used without the Flasher app.
The three modes (night, jogging and emergency) as well as the turn signal and brake light function completely without an app.
The free app allows you to adjust the settings of the wristbands (increase brightness, make the turn signals more sensitive, etc.). The app is also required to enter the destination when using the "navigation by vibration" function.
