Is the flasher compliant with the German Road Traffic Act and approved for use on public roads?
Yes, the flasher complies with the German Road Traffic Act and is permitted on public roads. Section 9, Paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic Act only requires a clear and timely indication of the change in direction, and you can choose the type of indication yourself.
Do drivers understand the signals?
Yes, because we use the same signals as all other vehicles on the road (yellow as indicator, red as brake light, red/white as front and rear lights). What is particularly valuable is that the lights are attached to the outermost points, similar to cars. Indicators are therefore particularly easy and clearly visible.
How do I turn the turn signal on and off?
You simply swing your elbow to turn the indicator on and off. This means that both hands can remain on the handlebars throughout the ride.
How can I charge the bracelets?
The bracelets can be charged using a USB-C to A cable. The delivery even includes one as a Y-splitter cable so that both bracelets can be charged at the same time.
How long does the battery last?
The battery lasts approximately 7-9 hours per bracelet when riding a bike. Here is an overview of the individual modes and their battery life.
How much does the app cost?
The app is free and offers you updates and personalized settings for your bracelets. You can optionally activate navigation via vibration via the app. After a 6-month free trial period, you can decide whether you want to continue using it for a fee.
How does navigation through vibration work?
Haptic navigation makes your wristbands vibrate when you need to turn, so you can concentrate on the road without having to look at your phone or navigation devices on the handlebars.
Do the bracelets also stay on a thicker jacket?
Yes, the armbands also stay on thicker jackets. Thanks to the non-slip silicone, they stay securely on the arm, even if the sleeve underneath moves (for a better wearing comfort, wear them close to the elbow).
Can I use flashers when driving in the rain?
Yes, Flasher is water resistant and can be used in the rain.
