Excellent accident prevention

Very soon after Flasher's first major public appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen" (the German version of "Shark Tank"), the wristbands were recognized by road safety experts as an important element. In October 2022, we were awarded the prize for outstanding research projects in the field of accident prevention by the Austrian Road Safety Board. The prevention association recognized Flasher as a valuable contribution to increasing the safety of micromobility users.

Greater visibility for prevention

During the award ceremony, Ines and Alex were able to accept the prize and prize money for 2nd place from, among others, the KfV Managing Director Dr. Othmar Thann and the President of the KfV DI Doris Wendler.

The Board of Trustees for Road Safety

The KFV (Austrian Road Safety Board) is an Austrian association dedicated to accident prevention and improving safety in Austria. For over 60 years, its members have been working independently to promote prevention in the areas of road traffic, leisure, sports, and household safety. To honor outstanding projects in these areas, they established the KfV Research Prize.
