Brilliant E – Bike Festival 2025

April 17, 2025

Last weekend, April 11th, 12th, and 13th, we set up our orange Flasher stand in downtown Dortmund. E-bike enthusiasts attending the festival flocked to us! Over 60,000 visitors tested more than 1,000 different e-bikes and discovered the amazing Flasher system. The feedback was truly overwhelming: hundreds of beaming faces, countless new, happy Flasher users, and a great deal of praise for how innovative the product is, how easy it is to use, and how beneficial it is for traffic. Thank you for the kind words, and we'll continue working hard to make Flasher even more successful!

Here we have compiled some of our favorite comments from the trade fair:

“What, it can do that too?!”

Most people come to our booth because they see a bright light. We often hear them assume that Flasher is some kind of driving light. When we explain and demonstrate that it's a turn signal, a brake light, and a light for e-bikes, scooters, and pedestrians, most people raise their eyebrows in surprise. At the latest when we mention "navigation," we hear the question that always makes us happy: "Wow, it can do that too?" Then, pretty quickly, they start brainstorming all the ways they can use Flasher: obviously, on the way to work, while shopping, in the evenings and during the day, on bike rides, on vacation, and so on.

“I was at another stand, they also had turn signals like these, for mounting. But this makes more sense.”

There are plenty of turn signals available, but Flasher is truly unique. We often hear that Flasher stands out from arm-mounted turn signals because of its design. Not only do good, mounted turn signals cost €200 and up, but the installation costs are extra.
In addition, Flasher's flexibility is a plus for many: what if you want to change your e-bike? Or if you're on vacation? You always have Flasher with you, whereas you can't easily take the mounted turn signal with you on your new bike or a shared bike.

“Can I pay with debit card?”

As a startup and manufacturer of flashers, we could tell you a lot. Like that the battery lasts 7-8 hours, ensuring you're safe on the go for a week, and that the wristbands are rainproof and robustly constructed.

“Can I pay with debit card?”

We can tell you that Flasher is street legal, that the snap bracelets fit securely and comfortably on the arm, and that the lighting is visible at huge distances.

“Can I pay with debit card?”

At trade fairs, we notice every time: in the end, trying it out is worth a thousand words. Anyone who holds the wristbands in their hand, sees the workmanship and quality, feels the springs, sees the LEDs, and tries the gesture just once and realizes how simple it is to use, is immediately convinced by the product. Then, very often, comes the best question: "Can I pay with a debit card?"
